Collingswood Schools, Government Outline Massive Facilities, Funding Collaboration Effort
Both entities hope to identify new funding sources for district and community needs; consolidate office, academic, and recreation spaces; and manage future capital improvements for the district and community at large. Before any of that, however, they must plug a $3.6-million hole in the district operating budget in the next few weeks.
The borough found no takers for a liquor license at an initial reserve bid of $400,000, but since cutting the price in half, officials say interest is up.
