Oaklyn Police are seeking information that could help them identify the driver involved in a hit-and-run accident in which a Haddon Township woman sustained significant injuries.
According to police, the 26-year-old woman was walking to the Oaklyn Wawa just before 1 a.m. Monday, and was struck while crossing the White Horse Pike in the area of Oakland Avenue.
“Minimal evidence was located at the scene, and the victim was unable to provide any further information,” police said in a statement.
Investigators are seeking video surveillance in the area to help process the search, and anyone with further information is asked to call Oaklyn Police Det. Paul Mason at 856-854-0049, x6029.
That area of the White Horse Pike was also the scene of a fatal accident in 2013, when a 66-year-old pedestrian was struck and killed crossing the street, and a multi-car pileup in 2014, in which six people were sent to the hospital.
