Two men have been charged with criminal mischief in a string of graffiti incidents that vandalized athletic facilities in Oaklyn from July 11 through 16.
Eric Gibson, 18, of Oaklyn, and Paul Grant, 20, of Cherry Hill, were arrested Wednesday, charged with criminal mischief and released on their own recognizance. Both face a Superior Court hearing August 7.
The first and second incidents were discovered at the Oaklyn Cougars practice facility building on West Cedar Avenue, said Oaklyn Sgt. Craig Stauts.
The third involved the defacement of two Little League buildings, the boys dugout and announcing booth, as well as the snack stand behind the Oaklyn school.

Stauts credited the Oaklyn detective bureau with developing Gibson and Grant as suspects after “a thorough investigation” involving “numerous interviews.”
The borough has dealt with vandalism before, including political graffiti from supporters of the Alex Jones website, Infowars.com in September 2012.
The Cougars athletic building was also targeted by burglars last year.
All suspects charged with criminal offenses are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. An arrest is not a conviction.
