Cherry Hill police are seeking information related to an armed robbery at the Cherry Hill Mall Friday morning in which two gunmen allegedly made off with the contents of a jewelry store safe.

Around 10:40 a.m. February 2, officers responded to the Philly Diamond Connection.

There, management reported that two masked men had held employees at gunpoint, and emptied the store safe.

Investigators report that the suspects then fled the mall in a black sport utility vehicle with no license plates.

Witnesses described one suspect as dark-complected, with a medium build, wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt, a black baseball cap and khaki pants.

According to police, the other was “medium-complexioned,” thinly built, and wearing a black, hooded sweatshirt and black sweat pants.

Their vehicle had been parked on the south side of the mall lot, and was last seen heading eastbound on Church Road in Cherry Hill, according to police.
