A Cherry Hill man is in custody in connection with the stabbings of three other men that occurred Friday evening in Glassboro.
According to the Gloucester County Prosecutor’s Office (GCPO), Glassboro police officers were dispatched to Oakwood Avenue at 11:22 p.m. on Friday, October 27 for a report of multiple stabbing victims.
There, authorities say they encountered three men from Brick Township who were suffering from knife wounds.
Two of the victims were transported to Cooper Hospital in Camden City; the third was transported to Inspira Hospital in Mullica Hill.
After investigation, the GCPO and Glassboro Police identified Michael Hill, 20, of Cherry Hill, as a suspect in the incident. Hours later, New Jersey State Police reportedly found Hill walking along the shoulder of Route 55, and took him into custody.
Hill is being detained at the Salem County Jail on three counts of aggravated assault and one count each of possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, and possession of a weapon.
The investigation remains ongoing, and authorities are asking anyone with information about the incident to call GCPO Det. Christopher Popper (856-384-5593), or Glassboro Police Det. Dante Laspata (856-881-1501, ext. 88133).
