Authorities say the victim was approached at the ATM, and assaulted and robbed at gunpoint. This is a developing story.

Cherry Hill Police are investigating an armed robbery and carjacking that occurred at a bank in the township in the early hours of Tuesday morning.

According to Cherry Hill Police Lieutenant Robert Schuenemann, the incident occurred just before 2 a.m. at the Republic Bank in the 400 block of Haddonfield Road.

There, two men allegedly approached a third, who was making an ATM transaction, and struck the victim in the head with a handgun.

The assailants then allegedly stole the victim’s keys, and drove off in his white, 2018 Hyundai Sonata, with New Jersey license plates N93 PJH.

Another vehicle in which the alleged gunmen arrived was observed fleeing the scene on surveillance footage.
