A suspect assaulted the clerk at the Haddon Avenue convenience store, making off with $40. Police are looking for information about the crime.

Haddonfield police are seeking information about a late-night robbery at the 7-11 on Haddon Avenue Friday night.
Around 11 p.m., a customer allegedly tried to steal money from the open cash drawer after making a purchase. When the clerk tried to fight him off, police said, the man hopped the counter and began to assault him.
The alleged robber reportedly made off with $40, heading down Haddon Avenue towards Westmont on foot.
Police describe the suspect as “a light skinned black or Hispanic male in his 30’s or early 40’s.” He was last seen wearing a red-and-white horizontal striped shirt with dark pants and white sneakers.
