Twenty-six-year-old Tymere Brown was arrested in Wilmington, Delaware Wednesday evening. He is charged with first-degree murder in the shooting death of 64-year-old Leopold McKoy of Bear, Delaware.

A Cherry Hill man has been arrested in connection with the fatal shooting of a Delaware man outside of a Cherry Hill apartment complex on Sunday.
Twenty-six-year-old Tymere Brown faces charges of first-degree murder, second-degree unlawful possession of a weapon, and second-degree possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose in the shooting death of 64-year-old Leopold McKoy of Bear, Delaware.
Brown had been identified by multiple witnesses as the shooter in a Sunday night incident outside the Sergi Farms apartments in the 1700 block of Abbey Road. McKoy was pronounced dead at the scene, having sustained multiple gunshot wounds.
According to the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office (CCPO), Brown was located Wednesday night in an apartment in Wilmington, Delaware, where he was arrested by members of the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force – Camden Division with assistance from U.S. Marshals First State Fugitive Task Force – Wilmington Division.
He is currently being held while awaiting extradition to New Jersey.
All persons charged with a crime are presumed innocent unless and until found guilty in a court of law. An arrest is not a conviction.
