On April 16, authorities say they were called to a parking lot off Route 70 West where they found a car on fire with a dead person inside. She was identified later as 39-year-old Diamond Robles of Camden City.

UPDATE: April 24, 2020 — The Camden County Prosecutor’s Office (CCPO) has identified the woman whose body was discovered in a burning car on Route 70 as 39-year-old Diamond Robles of Camden City.

The cause of death was determined to be smoke and soot inhalation and thermal burns, the CCPO reported.

On April 16, first responders were called to a parking lot off Route 70 West around 9:20 p.m. for a report of a burning vehicle.

There they discovered “a car on fire with one person dead inside,” the CCPO said in a statement.
